It can be seen that the main driver for Power Price was still Load (=Demand) while Coal fired power stations were mainly the marginal power plants regulating the market. Gas was only visible in the winter season and nuclear was stringly reduced during the summer period. Solar is stronger in summer days while onshore wind provided most of the power during winter and spring seasons.
The Charts shows the hourly power generation in Germany in the year 2015. All diagrams show the hours (0 - 8.760) of the year on the x-axis and the power in MW on the y-axis (except for Power Price, where it is the Price in €/MWh on the y-axis)
