Hourly Electricity Correlation Map 2015
The correlation maps show the different dependencies and influencing factors for the year 2015 and 2018. When comparing the two charts it can also be noticed that the system has changed slightly between the years. The renewable energies Onshore Wind and Solar have a negative correlation with price while coal has the strongest positive correlation with price. The shift between 2015 and 2018 reveals an increasing influence of renewable energies and a decreasing trend for coal.
